For starters it looks good while being more of a mix between the Elevate and the City with a larger chrome grille at the front like the Elevate plus the rear can be confused for the bigger City! There is LED lighting and 15-inch wheels while overall, it looks much better than the earlier one with more presence. It also looks more proportionate than before despite the fact that it has to be fit under 4m. The interiors are a big change also and design wise it is also similar to the Elevate as well as the City.

Honda Amaze 2024: First Look Review

The finish on the dash and the dual-tone theme adds a sense of space while the 8-inch touchscreen is supported by physical controls. There are part-digital dials too which look neat. Quality has grown and so has the features list with a lane watch features, connected car tech, rear camera, ADAS features,  wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a wireless charger, push button start/stop etc. That said, there is no sunroof like on the Dzire along with no 360 degree camera but the Amaze has a middle headrest. However, the rear seat armrest is placed too low but space is good. The boot at 416l is higher than rivals though. Honda has stuck to four cylinder engines with the 1.2l petrol developing 90bhp and it has a CVT automatic plus a manual. While being more powerful than the Dzire, it is not as efficient. There is no CNG variant on the Amaze but the petrol engine and the premium positioning will mean that it will be the best selling Honda car in India. For this segment, the looks, four cylinder engine with CVT and the new features stand out.
