New 2024 Honda Amaze Launched In India: Check Out Prices And Specs

 The new Amaze gets a different look now with the front-end being heavily inspired by the Elevate in terms of the grille while the rear styling in many ways is taken from the City

Honda has launched the new generation Amaze compact sedan in India with a starting price of Rs 7.99  lakh.

The automatic CVT Amaze range starts at Rs 9.19 lakh while the top-end AT Amaze is Rs 10.89 lakh. There are six colours and three variants on offer.

 The new generation Amaze is based on the City platform while the styling draws inspiration from the Elevate and the City too.

 Measuring under 4 meters, the new Amaze comes with a 1.2l petrol engine with 90 bhp and 110 Nm of torque.

The claimed fuel efficiency of the new Amaze is is 19.46 kmpl for the automatic.

 Standard the Amaze comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox while optional it gets a CVT automatic with paddle shifters.

 Inside, the new Amaze has an interior which is also a mix of Elevate and City with a clean design while it has a touchscreen with the same climate control panel while the pat digital instrument cluster is also familiar. That said, the steering wheel is different on the Amaze.

 In terms of features, the new Amaze gets LED lighting, ADAS features, climate control, rear-seat armrest, rear camera, 4 speaker audio system, lane watch camera, connected car tech, rear vents, 6 airbags etc.

However, it misses out on features like a 360 degree camera and a sunroof but as we had exclusively reported earlier, the Amaze is the first compact sedan to get ADAS. 

 The Amaze has a boot capacity of 416 litres too.

 In terms of competition, the Amaze will continue to rival the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire, Tata Tigor and the Hyundai Xcent.
