Nirbhaya case: Delhi HC begins hearing convict Mukesh's plea

One of the convicts of Nirbhaya case, Mukesh, had filed a plea seeking stay on death warrant in Delhi High Court. The hearing on this case has begun in the Delhi High Court. If the plea is rejected by the court then the convict will have the option to move mercy petition and seek life imprisonment instead of capital punishment from the President.
Mukesh along with other three convicts will be hanged till death on January 23.
