CAA Protest: Internet Suspended in Many Districts Of UP
The internet shutdown is a preventive measure in view of the Friday prayers and possible protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act. The Uttar Pradesh police has asked people to return home peacefully after offering Friday prayers. UP police is on alert and have also conducted peace meetings in many districts. Meanwhile the goverment has prepared to collect RS 50 lakh from those who were involved in the violence past week.
