Anti-CAA Protest: Samajwadi Party and Congress workers protesting outside Vidhan Sabha in Lucknow

The Samajwadi Party on Thursday defied prohibitory orders across Uttar Pradesh to register their protest against the Citizen Amendment Act (CAA).
In Lucknow, the SP legislators held protest at the Vidhan Bhawan before the assembly proceedings began. Sitting at the footsteps of the Chaudhary Charan Singh statue, SP legislators raised slogans against the citizenship law.
Party workers, meanwhile, collected at various points in the state capital and
