WATCH | Flying Slippers Mark Festivities In Air During Holi Celebration In Patna

New Delhi: While everyone is well aware about the ‘Lathmar Holi’ of Mathura, another unique way of celebrating Holi was seen in Bihar’s capital, Patna where people threw slippers at each other while celebrating the festival.
A video of the same was shared by a Twitter user where men could be seen throwing slippers at each other while standing in waist deep water.

There is no one way in which Holi can be said to be celebrated. While at some places Lathmar Holi is played there are other places where Holi is celebrated with flower petals and simple colours.
After watching the video, netizens were quick to give their reaction. While one termed this unique way of celebration as Tomatina of Bihar, another said that “flying chappal” meme was taken too seriously here.
