Arshia Goswami, from Panchkula, Haryana, has become an internet sensation with her weightlifting skills. In a recent video gone viral, the 8-year-old girl can be can be seen deadlifting 60 kg with ease. Her performance has captured people's attention and earned her a reputation as one of India's most promising young athletes. "Still the youngest and strongest girl," read the caption of the post shared on Instagram by fit_arshia.
In the clip, Arshia is seen lifting the 60kg deadlift with ease and holding it for a moment before throwing it down. At the end of the video the girl can be seen confidently walking towards the camera with pride and passion.
At six, the Olympic medalist set the record for the youngest deadlift in 2021, lifting 45 kg.
Since being shared the video has amassed 251,000 views. It has also garnered close to 20,000 likes and tons of comments.
