A video of a man of Indian descent proposing to his long-time partner at Auckland Airport, New Zealand in a Bollywood-inspired manner has gone viral on the internet. The clip of the heartwarming proposal was shared by the airport authority on their Instagram page. Since then, it has garnered a lot of attention from the users.

The clip opens to show how Auckland Airport’s arrivals hall is a special place for reunions between loved ones. It then transitions to show Yashraj Chhabra talking about how the idea struck his mind and he approached the airport authorities to help him out in making the marriage proposal a memorable one.
"So, it all started with an idea that I had because I knew Riiya, she’s like full of life. So, we’ve known each other for eight years and we just clicked, and I knew that she is the one," Yashraj can be heard saying in the clip.

One can then see him making a marriage proposal over the airport's public address (PA) system. And when Shukla emerges from the airport, Chhabra is on one knee, holding a ring. Riiya was entirely taken by surprise and accepted the proposal as people cheered on for them.
