Fed Up With Teacher's Drunk Antics, Students Hurl Slippers To Chase Him Away In Chhattisgarh — Watch

A video of students throwing slippers at a drunk teacher to chase him away in a government school in Chhattisgarh's Bastar has gone viral on internet.

A video of a group of students from a government school in Chhattisgarh's Bastar, throwing slippers at a teacher who turned up drunk at school has gone viral on social media. The students hurled slippers at the teacher to chase him away after he abused them under the influence of alcohol instead of teaching them.

As per media reports, the teacher had been arriving at the government school in an inebriated state every day. Instead of teaching, he would be found sleeping and ignoring the pleas of his students, who requested him to teach them, media reports stated. The students were fed up with his behaviour, following which they took the matter into their own hands, forcing the teacher to flee from the premises of the school.

In an attempt to escape the situation, the drunk teacher could be seen starting his bike quickly, as the students continued to chase him till the end while throwing slippers in his direction.

Teacher Carries Liquor Bottle To School In Chhattisgarh's Bilaspur

In another similar incident, a video of a drunk teacher entering a government school in Chhattisgarh’s Bilaspur district, carrying a liquor bottle in his pocket caught the internet's attention last month.

When a man questioned the teacher, identified as Santosh Kewat, about the liquor bottle in his pocket, he replied that he drank every day and that the man should mind his own business.

“Koi dikkat (Is that a problem?),” Kewat asks. Filming the video, the man says, “This behaviour shouldn’t be promoted at a school. Look! students are watching," Indian Express reported.

In the video, Kewat was then seen entering the staff room, flashing his liquor bottle, and asking the man to capture it on camera. When the other teachers reminded him that he was late to work, he replied: “I’ll come late and it’s my wish.”
