Beachgoers Save Giant Mako Shark That Washed Up On Shore In Alaska. WATCH

A video of some beachgoers rescuing a giant Mako shark stranded on the sand in Florida, USA has gone viral on the internet. In the clip a group of people on the Pensacola Beach can be seen wrestling the shark back into the water, and after several attempts, manage to push it back into the sea. The video was captured by Tina Fey, who was on a vacation in the area with her husband. The couple was hanging out on the beach when they spotted the Mako shark.
''It just showed up while we were swimming. I just so happened to beach itself right in front of us. We took action to get him back in the water since the wildlife people and lifeguards told us there was not they could do!! So we did our best to try to save him,'' reads the caption of the video shared on Facebook by Fey.

In the clip, a few men can be seen holding the shark by its tail and trying to drag it back into the water. As they try pushing it back, the shark thrashes restlessly, scaring them away. A woman can be heard saying "It's too dangerous, we shouldn't be doing that". However, the men return and try to drag it back again. This time they successfully submerged the shark in the water as people watching them cheered their daring effort.
According to americanoceans.org mako sharks are amongst the most leathal in the world for their extremely strong bite.
