Samsung’s new Health Records feature is the result of a collaborative effort between its R&D, UX Design, and Consumer Experience teams in partnership with Eka Care, India’s leading ABDM-certified integrator. This feature allows users to easily register for an ABHA account within the Samsung Health app using their Aadhaar or mobile number. Once registered, users can securely access their medical history, including prescriptions, lab reports, and hospital visits, all linked to their unique ABHA ID.

With this initiative, Samsung seeks to transform personal healthcare management in India by leveraging digital technology. Users can securely store their health data in ABDM-certified digital health lockers, eliminating the need for physical records.

Additionally, at ABDM-compliant hospitals and clinics, users can reduce wait times by scanning a QR code via the Samsung Health app to receive a virtual queue token. The app also provides an array of health management tools, such as medication reminders, sleep tracking, mindfulness programs, and irregular heartbeat alerts. All Samsung Health user data is protected by the Knox Security Platform, ensuring defense-grade security. Indian users can access the Health Records feature through the latest Samsung Health app update available on the Galaxy Store and Google Play Store.
