The much-anticipated India Mobile Congress 2023 has officially kicked off in New Delhi, with Prime Minister Narendra Modi taking the helm to inaugurate this three-day telecom extravaganza. A highlight of the event includes Prime Minister Modi's announcement of 100 '5G Use Case Labs' set to be granted to educational institutions across the nation.

During the inauguration, the Prime Minister visited the stalls at the Bharat Mandapam venue.

The India Mobile Congress 2023 is set to be a hub of innovation, knowledge sharing, and industry networking, solidifying its reputation as a must-attend event for professionals in the telecommunications and technology sectors.

Organised as a joint initiative by the Department of Telecommunications and the Cellular Operators Association of India, the event is being hosted at Pragati Maidan, Delhi. This year marks the seventh edition of the India Mobile Congress, and attendance is expected to soar with around 100,000 participants. The event boasts an impressive lineup of over 1,300 delegates and 400 speakers from 31 countries, truly transforming it into a global tech spectacle.

A notable addition to this year's programme is the introduction of "Aspire", aimed at supporting young entrepreneurs looking to launch businesses in the telecom and digital sectors. This initiative, which aligns with Union IT Minister Ashwini Vaishnav's vision of positioning India as a technology superpower, is poised to be a game-changer.

The India Mobile Congress 2023, as per the Press Information Bureau (PIB), will feature discussions spanning a wide spectrum of crucial topics. With a sharp focus on the expansion of 5G, preparations for the upcoming 6G, broadcasting, drone manufacturing, semiconductor production, and sustainable technology, the event is set to explore the frontiers of technological advancement. Furthermore, the utilisation and progress of artificial intelligence in India are anticipated to be pivotal themes in this significant gathering.
