Want A Smart Ring That Tells Time? Pebble's New Halo Is Worth Checking Out

Pebble's Halo also boasts several handy features, such as the 'Find My Ring' function, phone camera shutter function, and gesture-based controls.

Pebble has entered the smart ring race with the launch of Halo, a sleek stainless steel ring that fuses fashion with function, and notably, features a digital display right on its surface. Marketed as the first smart ring in India with a visible screen, Halo promises to be more than just a gadget — it's a statement accessory.

Time On Your Fingers

Halo is built for users who want their health tech to look as good as it performs. It monitors heart rate, activity levels, and sleep, and also displays key stats like step count, heart rate, time, and battery life directly on the ring.

Available in black, gold, and silver finishes, the smart ring is splash- and dust-resistant and crafted from stainless steel — ticking both durability and design boxes.

Smart Controls at Your Fingertips

The Halo ring goes beyond basic health tracking. Users can control their phone's camera, locate the ring using the “Find My Ring” function, and interact with social media apps, games, and e-book readers using simple gestures.

It also supports multiple sports modes and offers up to four days of battery life on a single charge, making it a capable companion for everyday use.

How Much Does It Cost?

Pebble is rolling out Halo in multiple sizes, ranging from 7 to 12, aiming to cater to a wide audience, from fitness buffs and tech aficionados to fashion-conscious users. Pre-orders are now live on the company’s official website at an introductory price of Rs 3,999.

The smart ring will officially hit the market on July 4, with an MRP of Rs 7,999, available exclusively on Flipkart and Pebble’s own platform. At this price point, Pebble Halo will take on the Boat Active, which doesn't come with a display of any kind.

With this launch, Pebble joins a growing global trend of wearable tech getting smaller, smarter, and more stylish. As the boundaries between gadgets and accessories continue to blur, Halo could very well be the ring that rules them all.
