The tool, which debuted on Sunday, aims to assist users with intricate research requirements by independently gathering, analysing, and synthesising information from various online sources.
It should be noted that Indian users - free or premium - are yet to get the Deep Research update on ChatGPT. Once it arrives, you will be able to access the tool via the regular ChatGPT chat page only.
Advanced Research Capabilities
Deep Research leverages an upcoming version of the OpenAI o3 model optimised for web browsing and data analysis. The AI agent can process vast amounts of text, images, and PDFs to deliver detailed reports at a level comparable to a professional research analyst. With built-in reasoning capabilities, the tool pivots and adapts to the information it encounters, allowing it to tackle dynamic research challenges.
