OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Will Leaner Sibling Trump Big Flagship Bro? Let's Find Out

OnePlus 13T is expected to arrive with a 6.3-inch OLED display, a tad smaller than the 13’s 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: With OnePlus teasing the imminent arrival of its next smartphone in China, the buzz around the OnePlus 13T is getting louder. While the company remains tight-lipped about many of its details, early leaks have painted a fair picture of what to expect. And when placed next to the already-available OnePlus 13, it’s clear that the T variant is aiming to make a name for itself — not just as a cheaper alternative, but as a capable flagship contender in its own right.

Here’s how the two phones stack up across key specs, features, and design elements.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Smaller Size, Same Flagship Punch?

The most noticeable difference starts with the form factor. The OnePlus 13T is expected to arrive with a 6.3-inch OLED display, a tad smaller than the 13’s 6.82-inch LTPO AMOLED panel. Both offer the same crisp resolution and buttery-smooth 120Hz refresh rate, but if you’re someone who prefers a more compact phone in hand, the 13T might feel more comfortable.

It also comes in lighter at 185g, compared to the OnePlus 13’s 210g. That said, the larger OnePlus 13 isn’t just about size — it’s got a broader canvas for immersive media consumption.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Bigger Battery, Slower Charging

In a surprise twist, the 13T is rumored to pack a slightly larger 6200mAh battery, edging out the 6000mAh unit in the OnePlus 13. But when it comes to fast charging, the OnePlus 13 takes the lead with 100W SUPERVOOC compared to the 80W fast charging in the 13T. Wireless charging speeds remain identical on both (50W), as does support for reverse wireless charging.

So, the 13T might last a smidge longer on a full charge — but will take more time to juice up.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Cameras

While both models flaunt dual 50MP sensors, the OnePlus 13 pulls ahead with a third 50MP ultra-wide lens — a feature missing on the 13T based on early specs. The main camera system on both phones boasts Hasselblad tuning, OIS, and telephoto capabilities, but OnePlus 13’s optical zoom and versatile photography modes give it the edge.

Where the 13T might match up is in day-to-day wide and portrait shots, but pro-level shooters will miss the ultra-wide option.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Performance And Software

Under the hood, both devices run Android 15 with OxygenOS 15, powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 chipset (likely to be marketed as "Elite"). Expect blazing-fast performance, whether you're multitasking or gaming. The 12GB RAM and 256GB UFS 4.0 storage configurations are identical as well.

There’s no difference in connectivity either — both phones support Wi-Fi 7, Bluetooth 5.4, dual SIM, 5G, and offer IP68 water resistance.

OnePlus 13T Vs OnePlus 13: Should You Wait For The 13T?

If the OnePlus 13’s Rs 72,999 price tag feels steep and you're okay compromising on display size and camera flexibility, the 13T could be the budget flagship you’ve been waiting for. Its compact design, large battery, and near-identical internals make it a compelling alternative.

But if you want the full-fat flagship experience — with all the bells, whistles, and ultra-wide shots — the OnePlus 13 remains the brand’s top-tier offering for 2025.

As OnePlus gears up for the 13T’s expected May 31 launch, all eyes are on whether this "T" refresh can strike the right balance of power and price.
