Nothing Joins Forces With KEF To Bring Hi-Fi Audio Products: What We Know So Far

While Nothing has quickly built a name for itself through its bold design choices, KEF brings over six decades of acoustic mastery to the table.

Two of the UK’s most distinct brands — Nothing and KEF — are teaming up to give your ears something extraordinary. In a newly announced partnership, the consumer tech disruptor and the high-fidelity audio legend are collaborating to co-create audio products that fuse iconic design with precision sound. And this isn’t just a one-off — both companies are in it for the long haul.

A Match Made in the UK

While Nothing has quickly built a name for itself through its bold, design-first products like the Phone (2) and Ear (2), KEF brings over six decades of acoustic mastery to the table. This partnership aims to create devices that not only sound exceptional but also stand out visually — something both brands are known for in their respective spaces.

Nothing is using this opportunity to deepen its footprint in the audio space, hinting at a future where it’s known not just for phones and earbuds but for a broader suite of sound experiences. At the same time, KEF sees this as a chance to connect with a younger, design-conscious audience through a fresh line of collaborative products.

“This is a long-term effort,” the official announcement stated, with both brands confirming that several products are already in development and are expected to launch later this year.

What’s Next: Eyes (and Ears) on Upcoming Releases

While neither company has unveiled specific product names or features just yet, both have confirmed that the first wave of jointly-developed products will arrive before the year ends. Expect a focus on immersive audio, thoughtful design, and a user experience that breaks away from the ordinary.

With KEF’s sonic expertise and Nothing’s flair for design, this partnership could well signal a shake-up in the premium audio market — one where form and function share the spotlight.

A Blend of Legacy and Innovation

Andrew Freshwater, Head of Smart Products Marketing at Nothing, emphasised the significance of the collaboration, “KEF is one of the most respected names in audio, and we’re excited to join forces with them as we continue to grow Nothing’s audio journey. By blending KEF’s decades of expertise with our design-first approach to technology, we’re setting the stage for a new benchmark in everyday listening. The products launching later this year will mark the beginning of an exciting chapter for both our collaboration and the future of Nothing Audio.”

On KEF’s end, the enthusiasm is equally strong. Grace Lo, President & Head of Global Marketing at KEF, said, “At KEF, we’ve always believed in the power of exceptional sound to inspire and connect people. This collaboration gives us the opportunity to bring our acoustic heritage into a new context — working with a brand that shares our focus on innovation, quality, and design. Together, we’re aiming to reshape how premium audio is experienced by the next generation.”
