Vivo V30 Price Slashed In India: New Price And More Details

Just before the upcoming launch of the V40 series next week, Vivo has officially announced a price cut for the Vivo V30 model.

Earlier this year, Vivo introduced the V30 smartphone in the Indian market with a starting price of Rs 33,999. Now, just before the upcoming launch of the V40 series next week, Vivo has officially announced a price cut for the Vivo V30 model. The new pricing went into effect on August 1 and is available through e-commerce platform Flipkart, Vivo's India e-store, and authorised retail outlets nationwide.

Vivo V30 Revised Pricing

The revised pricing for the Vivo V30 is as follows:

  • 8GB RAM + 128GB storage: Now Rs 31,999
  • 8GB RAM + 256GB storage: Now Rs 33,999
  • 12GB RAM + 256GB storage: Now Rs 35,999

This represents a Rs 2,000 price decrease across all variants. Additionally, Vivo is offering extra incentives, including a 10 per cent instant cashback with select partners and the Vivo V-Shield Protection Plan. For the 8GB + 128GB model, customers can take advantage of an 8-month no-cost EMI option.

  • Camera : 50MP main camera with OIS, 50MP ultra-wide, and 2MP portrait lens; 50MP front-facing camera
  • Battery: 5000mAh with 80W fast charging support
  • Other Features: In-display fingerprint sensor, IP54 rating, 5G connectivity
  • The device runs on Android 14 with Vivo's FuntouchOS 14 interface and offers a range of connectivity options including 5G, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC.

Vivo V40, Vivo V40 Pro Specifications (Expected)

The Vivo V40 Pro has been benchmarked on Geekbench, revealing impressive scores of 1,811 in single-core and 5,229 in multi-core tests. It is expected to run on Android 14 with 8GB of RAM and is likely powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 Plus, boasting a maximum clock speed of 3.35GHz. Furthermore, the Bluetooth SIG certification confirms the V40 Pro’s model number as V2347.

The device offers 256 GB of internal storage, though it does not support expandable memory. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi 5, Bluetooth v5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C. An on-screen fingerprint sensor enhances security, complemented by various sensors like light, proximity, accelerometer, compass, and gyroscope.

Design-wise, the Vivo V40 series showcases a sleek and modern aesthetic. The V40 model measures 164.16 mm in height, 74.93 mm in width, and 7.58 mm in thickness, weighing 190 grams. It features a durable mineral glass back and will be available in Stellar Silver and Nebula Purple. The IP68 rating ensures the phone's resilience against water and dust.
