The Poco M6 Plus comes with two years of promised OS updates and an impressive four years of security patch upgrades.

The Poco M6 Plus has a dual-camera setup on its back and the star of the show is a high-resolution 108MP main sensor, which supports 3x digital zoom. Complementing it is a 2MP macro sensor for close-up shots. Given the phone's pricing, the main camera's output is notably strong. It captures detailed images that surpass expectations for its market segment.

The primary camera produces images with good dynamic range and impressive colours for the asked price. The 13MP selfie camera is good for taking social media-worthy photos.

The Poco M6 Plus comes with a 5,030mAh battery, offering more than a day's use on moderate use of browsing Internet, checking emails and using multiple apps. The included 33W charger fully powers the device in about 70 minutes.

The Poco M6 Plus stands out in the budget segment with its good design and a hefty battery. Starting at Rs 11,999, for the 6GB RAM version, the phone handles everyday tasks well and appears to offer good value for the asking price.

First impressions of the Poco M6 Plus is good for basic day-to-day tasks, and the OEM is also giving a 36-month lag-free experience.

The Poco M6 Plus is the company's cheapest device to come with Android 14-based HyperOS.

The Poco M6 Plus comes with a big 6.79-inch LCD display with 120Hz refresh rate and atop is a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3 for protection. This budget phone features typical brightness of 450 nits and peak brightness of 550 nits, which means it has below average sunlight legibility.
