Elon Musk's next move might be to buy the American news channel and website MSNBC which has been accused of being the supporter of Far-Left ideologies.

X owner Elon Musk might be planning to buy the American news-based television channel and website, MSNBC. Donald Trump Jr shared a post of Comcast on X in which MSNBC was put up for sale. Trump Jr jokingly while sharing the post wrote, "Hey @elonmusk I have the funniest idea ever!!!" What left netizens bewildered was Elon Musk's response to this post. All Musk asked while responding to this post was, "How much it cost?"

What made this even more interesting was that this was the exact same thing that Musk said before buying Twitter (Now, X).

Donald Trump Jr continued the joke by responding to Musk with, "I mean it can't be much. Look at the ratings".

A user named Mario Nawfal refreshed the memories of everyone by sharing a screenshot of Musk's tweet from the past. While posting the screenshot, he wrote, "2017, Dave Smith: Hey Elon, you should buy Twitter... 2017, Elon: How much is it?"

MSNBC Is Up For Sale

Comcast has revealed plans to spin off several cable networks, including MSNBC and E!, amid declining ratings. The new publicly traded company will encompass MSNBC, E!, CNBC, USA, Oxygen, SYFY, and the Golf Channel, while Comcast shifts its focus to key brands like NBC and Bravo, the company announced. Brian L Roberts, chairman and CEO of Comcast, said, “When you look at our assets, talented management team and balance sheet strength, we are able to set these businesses up for future growth."

According to a report by The New York Times, MSNBC's ratings began to decline following Donald Trump's election victory. The network's Morning Joe also experienced a significant drop in viewership after hosts Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski visited Mar-a-Lago to meet with Trump in an effort to open dialogue and mend relations. Trump reportedly responded positively to their outreach, stating that various issues were discussed during the meeting.
