CMF Phone 2 Pro Teased In All Its Glory Days Ahead Of Release: Check Out AI Features, Colour Options, Camera Specs, More

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: Ahead of its highly anticipated launch, Nothing has unveiled the full design and some key AI-powered features of its upcoming CMF Phone 2 Pro. Slated for release on April 28, the new device is set to be the second smartphone under the brand's CMF sub-label. Alongside the CMF Phone 2 Pro, Nothing will also introduce a new lineup of audio products under the CMF Buds 2 series, adding to the excitement.

The CMF Phone 2 Pro will showcase a striking dual-tone design, continuing the modular approach that defined the original CMF Phone 1. The back panel of the device features two distinct textures: a matte upper half and a glossy lower section, each with matching colour tones. Preview images highlight two colour options: one in CMF's signature orange, and another in white with a unique granite-like texture.

This design is also marked by modular features, as seen in the screws along the edges and a dial located in the bottom right corner of the back panel. These design elements hint at the return of interchangeable accessories such as card holders and stands, similar to the CMF Phone 1’s modular functionality.

CMF Phone 2 Pro: AI Features, Essential Key, Camera Specs

The CMF Phone 2 Pro introduces a host of AI-powered capabilities, including the innovative “Essential Key.” This button, first seen on the Nothing Phone 3a, allows users to perform functions like taking screenshots, recording voice notes, and storing them in a dedicated “Essential Space.” Leveraging AI, the phone automatically organises saved content and can even create reminders or calendar events based on the stored data.

This integration of AI aims to enhance user productivity, making the CMF Phone 2 Pro not just a stylish device but a smart, efficient tool for everyday tasks.

Nothing has also revealed impressive camera specifications for the CMF Phone 2 Pro. The phone will feature a triple rear camera setup, including a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x optical zoom. The primary sensor, a 1/1.57-inch unit, is the largest in its class, offering improved image quality and detail. Additionally, the telephoto lens adds a new layer of versatility, making the CMF Phone 2 Pro the first in its segment to include this feature.

In terms of performance, the CMF Phone 2 Pro will be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 Pro SoC, which promises a 10 per cent faster CPU and a 5 per cent boost in graphics performance over the previous generation. Gaming enthusiasts will appreciate the phone’s ability to handle 120fps gameplay in Battlegrounds Mobile India (BGMI), along with a 1,000Hz touch sampling rate for quick and precise touch responses.

With these specifications, the CMF Phone 2 Pro positions itself as a powerful device for both gaming and everyday use.
