iPhone 17 Leaks: Revamped Design, Improved Camera, Performance Enhancement, More

iPhone 17 Pro is expected to showcase a refreshed aesthetic with a redesigned rear panel.

Apple’s upcoming iPhone 17 Pro is making waves with fresh leaks hinting at a striking design revamp, improved camera layout, and significant performance enhancements. The latest reports suggest that Apple is gearing up to introduce some of its most ambitious updates yet in the Pro lineup, with the iPhone 17 Pro Max possibly being rebranded as the iPhone 17 Ultra.

A New Look With a Redesigned Camera Layout

The iPhone 17 Pro is expected to showcase a refreshed aesthetic with a redesigned rear panel. While retaining the triple-camera setup, Apple may shift the flash and LiDAR sensor to the right side, as per leaked renders. The frame might be made of aluminium, marking a departure from previous models. This new design could give the device a sleeker and more refined feel, aligning with Apple’s push for innovation in both form and function.

Powerful Internals to Support Apple Intelligence

Under the hood, the iPhone 17 Pro is rumoured to feature a 6.3-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals. It may be powered by Apple’s yet-to-be-announced A19 Pro chipset, which could bring enhanced efficiency and processing speed. Additionally, with Apple Intelligence in focus, the iPhone 17 Pro might come equipped with 12GB of RAM, a notable upgrade aimed at boosting AI-powered functionalities.

Camera improvements also seem to be on the horizon, with reports hinting at a 48MP primary sensor, a 12MP telephoto lens with 5x optical zoom, and a 48MP ultrawide sensor. The selfie shooter might see a boost as well, potentially featuring a 24MP front-facing camera.

Expected Price and Launch Timeline

Apple’s iPhone 17 Pro could start at Rs 1,19,900 in India, though price hikes are possible given the anticipated upgrades. While official details remain under wraps, leaks suggest that the Cupertino giant will unveil the iPhone 17 series—including the iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Air, iPhone 17 Pro, and iPhone 17 Ultra—sometime in September, following its usual launch cycle.

As excitement builds around Apple’s next-gen flagship, it remains to be seen how these speculated features translate into reality when the official unveiling takes place.
