Maan Government Promise Of Purity In Every Drop & Prosperity In Every Home

Har Ghar Swachh Jal Har Jeevan Khushaal

Water is life, and in Punjab, it is now a promise, a promise that no family will have to worry about the purity of what they drink. The Maan Government, under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Maan, is spearheading a water revolution, ensuring that every household, from bustling cities to remote hamlets, has access to clean, safe drinking water.

A Vision Beyond Infrastructure

This isn’t just about laying pipelines and building treatment plants—it’s about changing lives. The Punjab Government is turning policy into action, ensuring that essential services reach the people who need them most. This initiative is not just about convenience; it’s about dignity, health, and progress.

Investing in the Future, One Drop at a Time

With an impressive ₹2,174 crore investment, Punjab is witnessing the implementation of 15 large-scale, canal-based water projects. These aren’t just numbers; they represent a transformative effort to eliminate water scarcity and contamination, ensuring a reliable supply for years to come.

Transforming Lives One villages at a Time

Thousands of villages with poor water quality and scarce supply have been identified. The phased rollout of these projects is set to begin mid-year, with completion targeted by the year’s end. This means fewer families will have to depend on unreliable sources, and more people will enjoy the peace of mind that comes with safe water.

Impacting 25 Lakhs Lives

Once these projects are completed, more than 1,700 villages will benefit, directly impacting an estimated 25 lakh people. Beyond just quenching thirst, this initiative will drastically cut waterborne diseases, fostering healthier communities and reducing healthcare burdens. Unsafe water is one of the biggest threats to public health, and the Maan Government is tackling this head-on. The result? Cleaner water, healthier families, and a state where well-being is a priority, not an afterthought.

A Commitment That Flows Strong

Maan Government leads a governance that listens, leadership that acts, and a vision that sees beyond the present. Punjab is setting a benchmark, proving that progress isn’t just about development, it’s about ensuring that every citizen, regardless of where they live, has the right to basic necessities like clean water. This is Punjab’s moment of transformation, and at its core is a simple yet powerful.
