The announcement caught attention of fans as both former cricketers were recently involved in a heated argument on social media, over KL Rahul's place in Test team.

Notably, Venkatesh Prasad and Aakash Chopra won't be seen commentating together in the commentary box as Prasad will be part of a team doing coverage in Kannada language while Chopra will be seen behind the mic for coverage in Hindi language.
