Sammy boost for Kings XI Punjab against Sunrisers

Sammy boost for Kings XI Punjab against SunrisersPhoto: AFP New Delhi: Kings XI Punjab received a shot in the arm ahead of their crucial encounter against Sunrisers Hyderabad on Friday.  West Indies all-rounder Darren Sammy has joined the squad on the eve of the match after spending 3 weeks away from IPL due to an untimely injury. The two time World Cup winning former West Indies captain can prove to be the ideal player the Kings XI were looking for, particularly when Australian all-rounder Marcus Stoinis has not fired with both bat and ball. For Sunrisers, the fitness of Yuvraj Singh is still in doubt as the swashbuckling left-hander has not yet recovered from the flu that kept him out of Sunrisers’ previous match against Rising Pune Supergiant.
