Pandya hits 30 off last over; Mumbai post 184/8 against SupergiantPhoto: Twitter New Delhi: Hardik Pandya took 30 off Ashoke Dinda’s last over to give a much needed boost to Mumbai Indians innings as they posted 184 for 8 against Rising Pune Supergiant in the second match of IPL 10. Pandya (35 off 15) slammed 4 sixes and a boundary to completely change the complexion of the match in the last over and gave Mumbai a good total to bowl at. Earlier, Supergiant sent Mumbai in after winning the toss. Mumbai Indians openers Jos Buttler and Parthiv Patel – both wicket-keepers gave a flying start. They raced to 45 in 4 overs. Just then came Imran Tahir, who completely turned the match in Pune’s favour. The leg-spinner who did not find a buyer in the players’ auction was drafted in as a last minute replacement for injured Mitchell Marsh. He cleaned up Parthiv (19) then followed by captain Rohit Sharma (3) and then got a lucky break in the form Jos Buttler (38 off 19). Tahir ended up with figures of 3 for 28. He was well supported by Rajat Bhatia who picked 2 wickets for 14 runs in his 3 overs. Mumbai though, picked up over 50 runs in the last 4 overs mainly because of Hardik Pandya’s heroics in the last over.
