Parth Jindal's Honest Note To DC Fans After IPL Exit

After DC's loss to Mumbai - which confirmed their elimination from playoff contention - Parth Jindal took to social media to share his disappointment.

Delhi Capitals started their Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 campaign on a strong note, raising hopes of finally ending their title drought. For the first time in Indian Premier League (IPL) history, a team has missed out on the playoffs despite starting the season with four consecutive wins.

However, the team lost momentum in the second half of the season, leading to yet another early exit from the tournament. Following their defeat to Mumbai Indians, co-owner Parth Jindal issued a heartfelt apology to the fans.

'Disappointed Like You' - Parth Jindal's message to supporters

After DC's loss to Mumbai Indians at Wankhede Stadium - which confirmed their elimination from playoff contention - Parth Jindal took to social media to share his disappointment.

“Sorry to all @DelhiCapitals fans - like you i too am reeling from the second half of the season. What started so well ended extremely poorly. There are positives to take from this campaign but for now all focus on the next game which we need to win. Post the season there will need to be a lot of introspection on a lot of aspects.”

Strong Start, Unraveled Finish

Led by Axar Patel, Delhi Capitals impressed early on in IPL 2025 and looked like serious contenders. But inconsistency and a lack of rhythm in the second half saw them fall out of the top-four race. DC has played 13 matches so far - winning 6, losing 6, and 1 match being washed out due to rain.

Final Match Ahead

With the playoffs out of reach, Delhi Capitals (DC) will aim to finish their season on a positive note when they face Punjab Kings (PBKS) on May 24 in their final league match.
