MS Dhoni's IPL Record Against Mumbai Indians

Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni continues to be a key attraction in the Indian Premier League (IPL).

The 18th season of Indian Premier League (IPL) kicks off on Saturday (March 22), with defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) facing Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the opening match.

Meanwhile, fans are eagerly awaiting the first match of Chennai Super Kings (CSK), as they take on Mumbai Indians (MI) on Sunday (March 23) at the MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

Former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni continues to be a key attraction in the Indian Premier League (IPL). Since the tournament's inception, he has delivered countless match-winning performances, especially against Mumbai Indians (MI) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).

MS Dhoni's strong track record against Mumbai Indians

Mumbai Indians (MI) have faced the wrath of MS Dhoni's batting. 'Thala' has been a formidable force against Mumbai in IPL history, ranking joint-fifth among the highest run-scorers against them. Across 35 innings, he has scored 805 runs at an average of 35.61 and a strike rate of 129.18, including three half-centuries. 

Apart from Mumbai Indians, MS Dhoni has also enjoyed great success against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), scoring 864 runs in 36 matches at an average of 39.27 and a strike rate of 141.87. His best performance against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) came when he smashed an unbeaten 84 run knock. He has also registered four half-centuries against them.
