IPL 2023: 'There’s No Philosophy' Ashish Nehra Opens Up On His Coaching Techniques - Watch
Performance analyst Sandeep Raju was also there with Nehra and according to him, the former India pacer produced confidence in both the players and the support staff.
Just Ahead of the match against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday, Gujarat Titans head coach Ashish Nehra elucidated his coaching philosophy. While speaking in a podcast with Gujarat Titans, Nehra said, “There’s no philosophy. Whenever I have played I have come across some really good coaches. Sometimes, as a player you feel or as a human you might feel this thing is very easy, it’s so simple, why people are making this complicated so even in coaching I had the same feelings".
“My main thing is to help the players, share my experience, then it’s up to the players and of course you’ve different relationships with different players,” he added.
“Each player is in a different place in his career so you deal with them accordingly.”
Performance analyst Sandeep Raju was also there with Nehra and according to him, the former India pacer produces confidence in both the players and the support staff. He then praised Nehra by saying that it was his belief only that Hardik can be the leader.
“The biggest plus factor with him is that he believes in people and he puts confidence in players, support staff and he doesn’t treat anybody special, everybody is equal and that’s his biggest speciality,” he said.

“He gives players confidence like Hardik is a great example where he believed he can be the captain,” added.
“It’s very easy to pin-point and I think it’s not the right way, no player will like it. You have to help those players.”
In the ongoing edition of IPL 2023, Gujarat Titans have played two matches and ended up winning both games. Looks like Hardik Pandya's team will defend their title this year. They will be playing against Kolkata Knight Riders on Sunday at the Narendra Modi Stadium.
