Fiery fifties from David Warner (51 runs off 47 balls) and Axar Patel (22-ball half-century) helped Delhi Capitals ended with a total of 172 against Mumbai Indians. Piyush Chawla was pick of MI bowlers as he ended up taking three wickets for 22 runs in his four overs. Behrendorff too picked three wickets for 23 runs. Riley Meridith picked two wickets, while Hrithik scalped one wicket.
Team India's star batter Suryakumar Yadav has been struggling for runs ever since India vs Australia 2023 series. During IND vs AUS ODIs, Yadav got out for three consecutive golden ducks. Even in IPL 2023, Surya is struggling with his lean patch. The MI batter has so far scored just 16 runs in first two matches.
