IPL 2021: Former Srilankan Cricketer Muthaiah Muralitharan Admitted To Apollo Hospitals
Former off-spinner from Sri Lanka has been admitted to Chennai's Apolo GHospitals after the cricketer complained of Cardiac Complications.
Sunrisers Hyderabad bowling coach, Muthaiah Muralitharan has been admitted to a hospital in Chennai due to a Cardiac Issue. He turned 49 on April 17, 2021. The off-spinner is currently at the Apollo Hospitals in Chennai.
Reports from Tamil news channels Thanthi TV and Puthiya Thalaimurai confirm that Muralitharan faced some cardiac issues. He will go through an angioplasty procedure as per reports.
Muralitharan is part of the Sunrisers Hyderabad coaching unit since 2015. He knows the team in and out. He has 800 wickets in Tests, which are the highest by any player in world cricket.
He also has 534 wickets in ODIs. On top of that, Muralitharan has picked up 63 wickets in 66 matches.
