Hello and welcome to ABP's live coverage of the IPL 2023. The much-awaited IPL 2023 is here with Chennai Super Kings (CSK) battling against Gujarat Titans (GT) on Friday at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. Talking about CSK’s last season, they ended at second last place in the points table.

As a result, they released many players like Adam Milne, Dwayne Bravo, Chris Jordan, and Robin Uthappa. Ahead of the IPL 2023, they roped in some new faces including England’s stalwart Ben Stokes. After playing for Rising Pune Supergiant and Rajasthan Royals, Stokes is ready to roar in the Yellow jersey.

Gujarat Titans, on the other hand, started playing IPL last year only. They had a terrific start in the cash-rich league as they ended up winning the title by defeating Rajasthan Royals by seven wickets. Under the leadership of Hardik Pandya, the Titans will be eyeing another title win this year.

Gujarat Titans off to a winning start!

Hardik Pandya's Gujarat Titans start their title defence on a winning note! They beat CSK by five wickets to win the tournament opener. Also, GT tonight defeated CSK for the third time in IPL history to remain unbeaten against them in the world' richest T20 League.
