Having played 252 matches, he has taken 114 catches, with a maximum of three in a single innings. His sharp reflexes and commitment on the field make him a standout performer.

Following Virat Kohli, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) legend Suresh Raina ranks second with 109 catches. The rest of the top 10 includes:

Ravindra Jadeja – 103 catches

Rohit Sharma – 101 catches

Shikhar Dhawan – 99 catches

AB de Villiers – 90 catches

David Warner – 86 catches

Manish Pandey – 83 catches

Apart from his fielding skills, Virat Kohli remains the highest run-scorer in Indian Premier League (IPL) history. In 252 matches, he has scored 8004 runs at an average of 38.67 and a strike rate of 131.97. He is the only player to cross the 8,000-run mark in the tournament, making him one of the greatest players in Indian Premier League (IPL).

In the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 season, Virat will be seen playing under Rajat Patidar's captaincy for Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB).
