Ideas Of India 2025: 'AI Can Be Crucial In Reducing Delivery Time In Construction,' Says Gallant Group Of Industries' Boss
Idea of India: Discussing the potential of technology in construction, Agrawal highlighted the evolution of technology and its ability to adapt to human needs

Idea of India: Mayank Agrawal, CEO of Gallant Group of Industries, said on Friday that with the right approach, technology can significantly improve both the time and cost of construction. He highlighted that India must effectively harness technology and consider environmental factors while planning new construction.
"As population and demand continue to rise, the pace at which we deliver housing and infrastructure projects is not keeping up. Technology can play a key role in bridging this gap if used correctly," he said during the ABP Network Ideas of India summit.
Discussing the potential of technology in construction, Agrawal highlighted the evolution of technology and its ability to adapt to human needs. "Artificial intelligence (AI) is making its way into both construction and manufacturing sectors," he noted.
He further shared an example from a recent two-day conference in Singapore, where a company presented AI-enabled software for the manufacturing industry. "This AI uses past data to predict future requirements and equipment needs. By anticipating these factors in advance, operations can become much more efficient," Agrawal added.
