India vs Sri Lanka ODIs: Suryakumar Yadav, currently ranked the No. 1 T20 batter in the world, was on fire against the Lankan Lions in recently-concluded India vs Sri Lanka 3rd T20I in Rajkot, Saturday. The flamboyant batter scored 112 runs off just 51 balls in the all-important series decider, his third century in the shortest format.

Suryakumar's batting masterclass, which included nine sixes and as many as seven fours, helped the hosts put up a big total of 228/5, batting first. In reply, the Sri Lankan team was reduced to just 137 runs in 16.4 overs as India registered an empathic 91-run win over the visitors.

Former India skipper Virat Kohli, who will return to the national team for ODI series vs Sri Lanka, was among many who took to social media to praise Suryakumar for his batting heroics in Rajkot. Virat's Insta post praising Yadav also went viral.

Suryakumar Yadav has so far played 43 innings in T20Is, scoring 1578 runs with help of 3 tons and 13 fifties, a jaw-dropping average of 46.41 and strike rate of 180.34. His highest score in the shortest format is 117.
