Germany coach Joachim Low apologises for scratch and sniff incident

New Delhi: Germany coach Joachim Low has apologised after television cameras caught him putting his hands down his trousers and sniffing his hands.   Low was trolled on social media for his unhygienic actions during his side's Euro 2016 victory over Ukraine.   "I saw the pictures and obviously sometimes you do things subconsciously and not deliberately. It happened and I am sorry."     "It was adrenaline and concentration. I will try to behave differently in the future," he added.   Downplaying Low’s actions, German footballer Lukas Podolski said with a laugh, “I believe 80% of you, and me as well, sometimes scratch your nuts from time to time.So everything is fine. It is not an issue in the team.”
