New Delhi: Team India's star bowler Deepak Chahar will tie the knot with his long-time girlfriend Jaya Bharadwaj on June 1, 2022. The preparations for Deepak and Jaya's grand wedding celebration are in full swing. In a viral video recently, both Deepak and Jaya were seen learning dance steps for their wedding. As per several reports, the wedding rituals for their wedding have started a day earlier than May 31. For this, Hotel Jaypee Palace in Agra has been booked as a venue. In the evening there was a Mehendi ceremony followed by a sangeet ceremony.

As per a report in InsideReport, an event management company has been given the responsibility for wedding preprations. The wedding rituals will start in the morning on 1st June. After the marriage ceremony on June 1, the reception will be hosted in Delhi on June 3. Almost 600 people have been invited to the wedding ceremony. The guest list includes well-known cricketers, the couple's friends, acquaintances, and relatives.

Many star cricketers like MS Dhoni, Suresh Raina, Rahul Dravid, Virat Kohli, and Rohit Sharma will most likely attend the wedding event. 

"MS Dhoni & his wife Sakshi, Virat Kohli and his wife Anushka, Rohit Sharma & his wife Ritika all are invited and will be available in the Deepak Chahar's wedding," one of Deepak Chahar's family member told InsideSport.

Last year, the official Twitter handle of Chennai Super Kings shared a video wherein Deepak can be seen proposing Jaya. She was beaming with joy as Chahar surprised her by presenting a ring. Jaya immediately said yes when Chahar popped the question.
