What Will Be Indian Cricket Team's Schedule After IPL 2023?
Team India Cricket Matches: Players of the Indian cricket team have a packed calendar ahead after the conclusion of IPL 2023.
The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2023 is coming towards its end. After 70 league matches, the tournament has found its four teams that has made it to the Playoffs. Meanwhile, the first Qualifier 1 saw Chennai Super Kings (CSK) get the better of Gujarat Titans (GT) to reach the finals while GT are waiting for the winner of the Eliminator between Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) and Mumbai Indians (MI) who they will meet in Qualifier 2.
With just a few matches to go for the culmination of the competition, some fans have already started to look forward to what's next. Not long after the IPL 2023 final scheduled at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on May 28, the Indian cricket team will play the ICC World Test Championship final 2023 against Australia at the Oval in London.
Post that there is a three-match ODI series set to be played against Afghanistan which could be scheduled in the month of June or July. Meanwhile, a tour of West Indies is slated in July-August as per which the Men in Blue will play 3 ODIs, 2 Tests and 5T20Is. They will then play a three-match T20I series against Ireland before the Asia Cup 2023 which is as per current schedule set to happen in Pakistan. Although it could be moved to a different country but will be played outside of India. Two series against Australia on either side of the ODI World Cup and a Tour of South Africa will complete India's packed calendar year.
