In the first match, West Indies Champions defeated England Champions by five wickets. In the second contest, South Africa Champions defeated Pakistan Champions by nine wickets to register their first victory of the tournament.
In the West Indies vs England match, Chadwick Walton and Ashely Nurse starred with the bat for West Indies as they helped the team to chase the mammoth target of 209 with three balls remaining. With this win, West Indies climbed to the third spot in the WCL points table.
