WATCH: Rohit Abuses During 2nd T20I Vs B'desh After TV Umpire's Blunder

The TV Umpire 'mistakenly' signaled 'not-out', despite the footage on big screen indicating that Pant had attained a clean stumping to dismiss Sarkar

Team India defeated Bangladesh by 8 wickets in the second T20I at Rajkot to level the three-match series 1-1, courtesy stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma’s heroic knock of 85-runs for which he was also awarded the man of the match as India chased down 154. Rohit's on-field temperament is very similar to that of former skipper MS Dhoni - cool, composed and relaxed most of the times. However, in the second T20I, the star opener lost his cool during the 13th over of Bangladesh innings when the on-field umpire went upstairs to re-check Soumya Sarkar's stumping by Rishabh Pant. After going through the replays, the TV Umpire 'mistakenly' signaled 'not-out', despite the footage on big screen indicating that Pant had attained a clean stumping to dismiss Sarkar. This lead to emotions get the best of the Mumbaikar as he was caught cussing by a camera. During the post match press conference, Rohit said that next time he'll check where the camera is. "I'm quite an emotional guy on the field. Some of the decisions in the previous and some of the on-field moments today, we were a bit sloppy. Ultimately the aim is to get the job done, and sometimes we display a lot of emotions. Next time I'll check where the camera is (laughs)," Rohit said during post-match conference.
