Australia speedster Mitchell Starc bowled an absolute stunner to knock Indian opener Murali Vijay’s middle stump after brushing the back pad on its way through

India dismissed Australia for 326 runs in the first innings of the second cricket Test. Resuming the overnight score of 277/6, Tim Paine and Pat Cummings held the Indian bowlers at bay for a while before both the players departed in consecutive overs.

Fast bowler Ishant Sharma then had Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood caught behind off back to back deliveries to bring the Australian innings to an end.

Just before the lunch on day two, Australia speedster Mitchell Starc bowled an absolute stunner to knock Indian opener Murali Vijay’s middle stump after brushing the back pad on its way through, in the third over of Indian innings. With this wicket, now Starc has dismissed Vijay for the sixth time in Test and third time this series.

After Vijay’s dismissal, it will be interesting to see how Indian batsmen Pujara and KL Rahul will tackle the Aussie bowlers, when they return to bat in the post-lunch session.
