Kohli Found Guilty Of Breaching ICC Code Of Conduct, Gets 1 Demerit Point | Watch Video

The incident took place during the third and final T20I vs South Africa that could have lead to a possible banter during the match

India skipper Virat Kohli is known for his aggression on the field. Many expert have often said that King Kohli is more of an Australian player because of the intensity he displays, whether he is batting, leading the team or even sometimes off the field as well. Virat's 24x7 animated face tells how high he is on emotions whenever he steps foot on the ground and remains the same till the last ball of the game is bowled. An incident took place during the third and final T20I vs South Africa that could have lead to a possible banter during the match. Virat Kohli collided with Proteas bowler Beuran Hendricks, who didn't moved away away and stood still at his position when Kohli was running towards the bowler's end to complete a single. Usually, a bowler avoids collision by moving away from the batsman. Unfortunately, international cricket's governing body ICC found Kohli guilty of a Level 1 breach of the ICC Code of Conduct. The Indian skipper also received an official warning and one demerit point  for the same. Here's the video of the incident...  According to the ICC release, Kohli was found to have breached Article 2.12 of the ICC Code of Conduct for Players and Player Support Personnel, which relates to "Inappropriate physical contact with a Player, Player Support Personnel, Umpire, Match Referee or any other person (including a spectator) during an International Match." Beuran Hendricks (4 for 14 runs) was the pick of the bowlers for South Africa  as they bowled brilliantly to restricted team India to 134/9 after 20 overs. Skipper Quinton de Kock played an unbeatable 72-run knock to power the Proteas to 9-wickets win against India and level the three-match T20I series 1-1. "I think we kept it nice and simple," said de Kock in the post-match presentation. "Focused on hitting a good length. Our spinners kept it tight too. Beuran bowled really well, he's got the skills. Sometimes it's better on these wickets to take the pace off.", he added.
