WATCH: Angry Rohit Sharma Asks Navdeep Saini To Use Brain

India young speedster Navdeep Saini turned out to be the most expensive among the Indian bowlers  as he conceded 25 runs in two overs

Defending a small total of 135 runs, the Indian bowlers failed to find rhythm and came up with an average bowling show in the third T20I vs South Africa. Proteas skipper de Kock's fiery unbeaten innings of 72 outclassed Indian bowling attack as the visitors chased down the target in 16.5 overs to level the series 1-1. India young speedster Navdeep Saini turned out to be the most expensive among the Indian bowlers  as he conceded 25 runs in two overs. When skipper Kohli went off the field, deputy Rohit took charge and was seen having constant communication with the bowlers. However, Rohit Sharma lost his temper when Saini conceded two back-to-back boundaries off Temba Bavuma in the 12th overs. Reacting to Saini's dismal bowling, Rohit was seen scolding Saini by making hand gesture, asking the fast bowler to use his brain. The bowling trio of Washington Sundar, Deepak Chahar and Navdeep Saini failed to trouble the African opening and were even smashed for some brutal sixes and fours withing first five overs of the second innings. The South African bowlers restricted team India to 134/9 after 20 overs. Beuran Hendricks (4 for 14 runs) was the pick of the bowlers. After loosing the final T20I, skipper Virat Kohli defended his decision of batting first by saying that he wanted the 'Men in Blue' to get out of their comfort zone. "Yes we wanted to go for a big score, exactly why we batted first. In the past we've felt we've been 20-30 runs short batting first in T20I cricket which has cost us the game. The idea was to come out of our comfort zone, and try to get that big score because we're batting till No. 9. But we quickly realised the pitch didn't allow us to do that," Kohli said while speaking at the post-match press conference.
