Tamil Nadu vs Assam
Tamil Nadu skipper Vijay Shankar made an impressive return from injury by smashing a blistering 99-ball 129 inclusive of seven sixes to power the team to a comprehensive 130-run win over Assam in the Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite Group 'C' league on Thursday.
Electing to bat after Shankar won the toss, the home team got off to a brisk start as N Jagadeesan (37) and Abhinav Mukund (71) put on 50 in 11 overs. The former fell lbw to leg-spinner Amit Sinha which saw Mukund and Indrajith add 43 runs.
Assam's innings never got going as wickets fell at regular intervals and they were bowled out for 204.

Jharkhand vs Jammu and Kashmir
The decision to bowl first by the Jammu & Kashmir team seemed to be the right till Anukul Sudhakar Roy’s brilliant performance with the bat proved to be of great importance as it helped Jharkhand beat Jammu & Kashmir to win the game by 73 runs in the Vijay Hazare Trophy Elite Group C game at Chennai on Thursday.
An exceptional performance from the batsman-bowler duo of Shahbaz Nadeem and Mohammed Mudhasir was quite promising. While Mudhasir scored an unbeaten 53 in just 28 balls, his teammate Nadeem in a presentation of his spinning skills with the ball took 5 wickets with the economy rate of just 1 run per over. However, the team collapsed scoring just 148 runs. Apart from Mudhasir, none of the batsmen could score even 20 plus runs.
Top Performer: Anukul Sudhakar Roy took the opposition bowlers to task en route to 96 not out in 72 balls. The left-arm spinner missed his hundred by just four runs, his unbeaten knock lead his team to the victory.

Haryana vs Rajasthan
Put in to bat first, a cumulative team performance with the bat by Haryana ensured their victory by 147 runs over Rajasthan. Haryana got all-out in the final over, scoring a total of 304 runs. In return, the Rajasthan team managed to score only 157 runs.
Top Performer: Determined to hit the ball as hard a possible, Pramod Chandila scored 88 in 55 balls, hitting the bowlers out of the ground for 7 huge sixes, with a massive strike rate of 160.
Star watch: Haryana team captain and veteran Leg-spinner Amit Mishra had a decent game as he took two wickets completing his ten over, giving away 33 runs.
