Updated IPL 2025 Points Table, Orange Cap And Purple Cap Standings

With a dominant win, Rajasthan Royals gained momentum in the tournament, while Punjab Kings faced a setback in the points table.

A thrilling encounter of IPL 2025 took place at the Maharaja Yadavindra Singh International Cricket Stadium in Mullanpur, where Rajasthan Royals locked horns with Punjab Kings. Rajasthan put on a clinical performance to register a convincing 50-run victory - marking their second win of the season - while Punjab tasted defeat for the first time.

With this dominant win, Rajasthan Royals gained momentum in the tournament, while Punjab Kings faced a setback in the points table.

Batting first after losing the toss, Rajasthan Royals piled up a strong total of 205 runs for 4 wickets, powered by Yashasvi Jaiswal's impressive knock of 67. In reply, Punjab Kings faltered in their chase and managed only 155 for 9 in 20 overs. Jofra Archer turned in a match-winning performance with the ball, taking 3 wickets for just 25 runs in his 4-over spell and was rightfully named Player of the Match.

Delhi Capitals have stormed to the top of the IPL 2025 points table with their third consecutive win, making it six points from three games. Their strong start has pushed Punjab Kings, who have four points from two matches, down to second place.

On the flip side, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) continue to struggle. After suffering another defeat, they remain stuck at two points from four games, now languishing at ninth position.
