Three New Faces Expected To Make Their Debut In IND vs BAN T20I Series

Several emerging players have been given a chance to shine following retirement of stalwarts like Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli from T20Is.

IND vs BAN T20I Series: Rohit Sharma-led Indian cricket team clinched a 7-wicket victory against Bangladesh in IND vs BAN 2nd Test match at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium, thereby winning IND vs BAN Test series 2-0.

The two teams are now preparing to square off in a three-match T20I series, which begins on October 6. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has officially announced a 15-member squad for India for IND vs BAN T20I series.

1. Nitish Kumar Reddy: Team India is on the lookout for a new all-rounder following Ravindra Jadeja's retirement from T20Is. Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) star Nitish Kumar Reddy is a strong candidate for the role. He made a massive impact with his all-round performance in IPL 2024, scoring 303 runs in 13 matches at a strike rate of 142.92. He also took 3 wickets, maintaining an economy rate of 11.62. 

2. Mayank Yadav: Lucknow Super Gaints' pace bowling sensation Mayank Yadav caught the spotlight in IPL 2024 with his exceptional bowling speed. He has been clocking speeds of 150 kilometers per hour and has taken 7 wickets in just 4 IPL matches, with an impressive economy rate of 6.99. Yadav has now been named in Team India's squad for the T20 series against Bangladesh, bringing him closer to making his mark on the international stage. 

3. Harshit Rana: KKR's star bowler Harshit Rana claimed 19 wickets in 13 IPL 2024 matches while maintaining an economy rate of 9.08. His strong performances have positioned him as a potential candidate for his debut in the upcoming T20 series against Bangladesh.
