India star cricketer KL Rahul has been in the rehabilitation phase at the National Cricket Academy (NCA) in Bengaluru following his absence from the last four Tests in the ongoing five-match India vs England series. With the aim of returning to action, Rahul is targeting a comeback during the upcoming Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
KL Rahul took to his social media platforms to give fans and followers an insight into his recovery journey, posting images from his training sessions at the NCA in Bengaluru. Accompanying the pictures was a short caption that read, "Hi."

KL Rahul's Promising Test Series Met With Unfortunate Injury Twist
KL Rahul featured in just the opening game of the five-match series against England where he was impressive with the bat, scoring a well-compiled 86-run knock in the first innings and then a 22-run knock. Subsequently, he experienced discomfort in his right quadriceps before the second match, leading to his absence for the remainder of the series. Seeking expert advice, he travelled to London for consultations. According to a report in the Times of India, his trip proved to be successful, suggesting positive developments in his recovery process.
KL Rahul is now setting his sights on participating in the IPL 2024, where he will be leading the Lucknow Super Giants (LSG). LSG will lock horns with Rajasthan Royals at the Sawai Mansingh Stadium in Jaipur on March 24.
India Outdo England, Clinch Yet Another Home Test Series Win
In the current IND vs ENG Test series, the fifth and final match is scheduled to take place in Dharamsala starting March 7 (Thursday). India, under the captaincy of Rohit Sharma, has already clinched the series with a commanding 3-1 lead, despite facing an initial setback in the first Test in Hyderabad. On the other hand, England, led by Ben Stokes, has been unable to replicate their past series triumphs and is on the verge of experiencing their first series defeat under Stokes' leadership.
