India Squad For IND vs ENG 5th Test: The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), on Thursday (February 29), unveiled the Indian squad for IND vs ENG 5th Test match, set to be played in Dharamshala from March 7 onwards. Wicketkeeper-batter KL Rahul, sidelined since the first Test due to injury, will miss the final Test as well. In what comes as a major boost for the hosts, premier pacer Jasprit Bumrah, who was rested for the 4th Test in Ranchi, makes his return to the national team for IND vs ENG Dharamshala Test, after an extended break.
The BCCI medical team is closely monitoring Rahul's condition and is consulting with experts in London for further management.

Spin all-rounder Washington Sundar has been released from the team to join his Ranji Trophy side, Tamil Nadu, for their semi-final clash against Mumbai starting on March 2, 2024. He will have the option to rejoin the Indian team after the conclusion of the domestic matches, potentially for inclusion in the fifth Test, if required.
