Jasprit Bumrah Sits Out Fourth Innings Due To Injury As India Defend 162 Runs In IND vs AUS Sydney Test

Bumrah Injury: Team India's woes continued as their leading pacer Jasprit Bumrah didn't take the field in the fourth innings of the India vs Australia Test in Sydney as hosts required 162 runs to win.

Bumrah Injury: Jasprit Bumrah, India’s stand-in captain, did not take the field in the fourth innings of the 5th India vs Australia Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 5 (Sunday). While Bumrah displayed resilience by stepping out to bat on Day 3 despite concerns over his fitness, it was Mohammed Siraj who started India’s proceedings with the bowl as Australia needed 162 runs to win the final Test in the Border-Gavaskar Series (BGT) 3-1 and reclaim the elusive trophy after over a decade.

Jasprit Bumrah left the field on Day 2 of the IND vs AUS 5th Test after bowling with reduced pace. He was seen leaving the stadium with the team doctor and a security officer, leaving Indian fans worried about his fitness.
