Bumrah Injury: Jasprit Bumrah, India’s stand-in captain, did not take the field in the fourth innings of the 5th India vs Australia Test at the Sydney Cricket Ground on January 5 (Sunday). While Bumrah displayed resilience by stepping out to bat on Day 3 despite concerns over his fitness, it was Mohammed Siraj who started India’s proceedings with the bowl as Australia needed 162 runs to win the final Test in the Border-Gavaskar Series (BGT) 3-1 and reclaim the elusive trophy after over a decade.

Jasprit Bumrah left the field on Day 2 of the IND vs AUS 5th Test after bowling with reduced pace. He was seen leaving the stadium with the team doctor and a security officer, leaving Indian fans worried about his fitness.
