Yuzvendra Chahal, the star Indian cricketer and Dhanashree Verma, well-known choreographer and Chahal’s wife have been making headlines amid rumours about their separation. Although there has been no official confirmation, the couple, who tied the knot on December 22, 2020, has sparked speculation about a potential divorce, especially after both unfollowed each other on Instagram, further fueling the rumors on social media.

What fuelled the divorce rumours of Chahal and Dhanashree even more is that Yuzvendra has removed all photos of Dhanashree from his Instagram account, while she still has a few pictures of him on hers.

"The divorce is inevitable, and it's only a matter of time before it becomes official. The exact reasons for their separation are not known yet, but it's clear that the couple has decided to move on with their lives separately,” a source in the know was quoted as saying by the Times of India

Rumours About Chahal & Dhanashree's Marriage In 2023

Notably, this is not the first time speculations about their marriage have been rife. Back in 2023, Dhanashree removed her surname 'Chahal' from her Instagram handle back in 2023, leading to assumptions of trouble in their marriage. Around the same time, Chahal shared a cryptic image on his Instagram story featuring the quote, “New Life Loading," which only fueled further curiosity. Dhanashree also posted a mysterious message earlier, reading, “A princess will always turn her pain into power," adding to the intrigue.

However, the couple dismissed the rumours back then, saying, “A humble request to you all to not believe in any sort of rumours pertaining to our relationship. Kindly, put an end to it. Love and Light to Everyone."

In 2024, Dhanashree faced online trolling after sharing a picture with choreographer Pratik Utekar, where he had his arms around her. The negative reactions led her to take a break from social media. She later expressed that the trolling had impacted her 'near and dear ones.'
