The Suresh-Raina led side triumphed over Mumbai Champions by 6 wickets, as Pawan Negi scored a magnificent unbeaten 105 off 55 balls to help the UP side chase down the target of 215.

What followed next was constant hitting from the Mumbai side, as Phil Mustard's 76, alongside vital knocks from Abhishek Jhunjhunwala and Peter Trego guided Mumbai past 200-run mark.
In reply, a resilient and in-form Pawan Negi scored his second hundred of the tournament as after early setbacks for the hosts, Parvinder Singh played as a vital cover and partner for Negi and the duo, alongiside Puneet Bisht dragged the side over the line to win the final. Pawan Negi was awarded as player of the series.
